About to get Alpine CDA-9831

I've got the 30 in my car, and love it. I've got the KCA-420i (ipod controller) hooked up to the AI-net.

I got the 9831 in my car, running of the internal amp for now. Pretty decent deck, and I couldn't complain about the price. It was a gift :D

Also, does anyone know where I can find the alpine amplink thing? Most shops are asking $140 for it, which is insane since that's the same price I paid for my amp :S

if you like it get it ;) I do think the 9833 (all black instead of silver) would look better in the E30 but really neither will do amber illumination so it won't be a great match.

I've never been impressed with Clarion, sound or looks.

Damn I love the look of that headunit though, Alpine's honestly have the best designs.
Hopefully soon I'll be cruisin listening to 80's on my XM.
