Car Stereo Line-Out Converter?????

So.. the electrical wizards.. I have a Radio Shack car stereo Line-Out Converter.. has two RCA white & red cables on one end.. a box in the middle connected to 4 line outs.. able to solder in or connect to something. This looks like a chance to put an ipod to my headunit without buying the 8mmJack Headunit. What would I connect the wires to??

An Alpine.. not sure what model.. its an old model. Only plays CD/FM/AM -___-

I just want a quick way to get an Ipod connection in without spending to much, so by the time your special box comes in, I dont gotta be flippin through CD's :)

Your deck should be a CDA **** or a CDM ****, It matters your exact model number. It is written on the face, somewhere.

bummer my deck is a CDE-7870. -___- so not connectable for both line out converter or alpine kce-422
