can anyone say check control?

if any electronics guy aka george, knows of a smaller amber screen that could be used instead of that big green monster i could see putting this thing in the dash or somewhere more discrete, as a replacement for the check control.

driven an e34, e36, e38, e39,.......

all of them have digital display check controls, its not like you spend the whole time youre driving reading the check control panel
