I found out that my E30(1986 325ES coupe) harness wiring is not exactly same as my old one.
Right now i am plannign just transfer the old one back to the new dash but i found out this box can anyone tell me what is it...and can i use the new one instead of my old one

Mine is the bigger one(325es) V.S. the small one i have no clue from which e30 model

top one is mine V.S. bottom no clue

This is the switch from my light department, but I am thinking maybe one of you can tell the year difference. TOp one is mine V.S. bottom no clue

Also anyone has 1986 325es wiring diargram, there are some plugs i forgort where to connect to my dash connectors...

np, and for the steering wheel you pop off the horn button or emblem in the middle of the wheel and then take the nut off the middle and it will pull out. You will need the key in to unlock the steering.
