13 button OBC wiring question

I put one of these pieces of crap in my car. it came with a harness and the stalk.

it works except for the average MPH and MPG functions-- is there a wire that is supposed to go to the cluster (speedo) green extra connector thing????

does anyone know what that green adapter thing is for that that goes into the speedo section of the rear of the cluster? trailer hitch?
