    Remote Start Alarm

    So im thinking about getting a alarm system for my 85 325e, but from what Ive read doing a remote start is difficult, why is this?

    It is not difficult: I have done at least 20 E30s.

          It's not complicated - but I woulsn't do it as your very first install.

          But EVERYONE has a friend that knows enough to pull it off. Just plan on it taking about 5 times longer than you expect. And you need to spend like a hour or two finishing things up and making things nice.

          Search- and luke has a thread going about this - highly recommended you pick up his kit when they are ready.
