PIC REQ: Single DIN Nav install

I am thinking about installing a single din nav in my e30. I would love to see some NAV installs. Single and double din (not sure if double din is even possible) if you have pictures of both. Thanks.

You do know you can't do a single DIN flip up on a stock dash, right? It hits the wiper stalk, so you gotta do a RHD bezel, or a 316 bezel (centers the radio)

I don't think that you can use a RHD bezel without some cutting and pasting into a LHD bezel. The bezel shape differs on the left and right sides...

Yeah, good call. I even have a flip screen, but would never put it in an E30. I am gonna rock it in my E34 for a minute, but not soon.

I'm on the fence right now about what to do. I love my 9835 but want integrated nav, bluetooth including a2sp. I'm considering the kenwood ktv-696 but I'm not sold yet.

Go for broke, man...move that HVAC panel and do double DIN.

If I wanted a deck in my dash that is what I would do.

I'm planing on a picking up a motorized flip screen someday. I bet you could just mod the stalk.

the kenwood "pop outs" open backwards and wont hit the stalk as they are multi adjustable as well. I love my pioneer (n3) popouts but opted for kenwood (715dvd)for this reason.
