So, EVERY backlight in every control on the center console is not illuminating. Is there something simple that I should be looking at? It'd be nice to not have to fumble blindly at the HVAC control when it's dark.

Check Fuse 23.
If that's good, there's a ground point up under the dash above the clutch pedal for the lights in the center console area. I believe it's G200. You'll see a WHOLE lot of small brown wires going to one spot. The lights also go through C204? Or C240, I forget which, it's a big white connector above the gas pedal to the right of the steering column.
The bulbs could also be blown. Does nothing light up in that area? Hazard switch, defrost, OBC? Anything?

The switched light up when they are turned on, but there are no backlights at all.
I'll check the ground connectors and the fuse.2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD LBZ/Allison
