ignition to toggle switch?

Well, somebody tried to steal my car. They jammed a screwdriver in the lock cylinder and messed it up bad. Since its all jacked up I figured now would be the perfect time to do push button. I found a push button diagram.
However I want to bypass the ignition switch and use a toggle switch? flip one switch and run acc. like radio,ect. Then flip the second switch and have the dash lights, ect. Then push the button to start.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram to run the toggle switches in place of the ignition switch? I tried the search and google and found nothing

So wait, someone tried to steal your car, and your solution is to ditch the lock cylinder and use 2 switches and a button to start it?

I think he's gonna install a hidden toggle switch somewhere (out of sight, out of mind), right after he got the wiring diagram figured out.

Yeah dude fix the lock but I was thinking that the cigarette lighter would make an awesome primary switch. hehe

You ask who steals e-30's? Anyone that has ever dumped the clutch in a 5-speed at anything about 4k and has no scrupples and knows of an abandoned (unpatrolled) parking lot. that's who.
