      I only wish they would do something like the JBL GTi series...4" voice coil, 1000+ RMS power handling, 97db/w/m sensitivity, low moving mass...the S38 of woofers, right?

        I remember how big those fucking things were, since my dad played bass I was always around studio/concert type gear....makes the puny little 10-15" car audio subs look like crap lol.

          Good read. I've always been a fan of EV stuff.

          And is it just me, or has the sound quality @ concert events gotten a whole lot better in the last 10 years or so? I attribute it to people like Clair Bros. now being able to utilize CAD to build a better system. (I grew up a couple of miles from the little church where the Clairs started the whole deal)
