    Cluster swap White to blue?

I just did a 5spd swap and for some reason my car (an 87 325is) had an eta cluster in it which was white and i just put in the cluster out of my 88 325i parts car which is blue and the speedo and tach dont function everything else works perfect though. What do i do to fix this. I want the new cluster because it shows the right redline for my car.

    Sorry for another cluster question...

Did you plug in the sensors in the diff after the swap?

I didnt touch the diff, i left the original one in, Im about to swap it for the 3.73 lsd thats in the parts car, the 4.10 is terrible with the 5spd. What do i have to do with the sensors? do i have to swap all the wiring?
Idk if it makes a difference but the cluster i took out had the black coding plug in the back and the new one has a white chip in the front under the tach
