When i got my car(89 M3) a few weeks ago, it didn't have a radio. I had an old cd player from an old car i was going to throw into it but I cant get it to work right. I got the power, switched power and ground hooked up, but I'm having problems with the speakers. The new radio has 2 wires for each speaker, I can only find one wire per speaker coming from the M3. I can get it play, but very slight sound(i can't hear it over the engine) Also there are a few wires which I think are for the Amp. Is there something special I have to do to bypass the amp? I do I need to power the amp? The last e30 i had did not have the premium sound and the radio hooked up just fine. This is driving me nuts! Please help!!
