    Trouble with new head unit.

'89 325i with non-premium system. No amp or tweeters.

Installed Pioneer DEH3200ub head unit. Had all the wires hanging out of the console face and tested, everything worked fine. I wired the head units ground onto the car's brown ground lead, since there was no place on the chassis to ground to that i could find.
The one wire from the car for the stock head unit lights went unused.

I installed the mounting sleeve, put the pioneer unit in, and now it won't power up, and neither will the OBC next to it. I didn't change anything about the wiring. Neither will turn on after i take them out of the dash either. No wires are frayed or pinched as far as i can tell, i'll be unwrapping some bundles or using a flashlight next i suppose.

    Any ideas?

Under the hood drivers side corner? All the fuses there look good, i'd have to look again for 21 specifically, do you know the amperage?

I bumped the cam-lock on my OBC while I was fishing the USB cable behind it. Fired up the radio, but no OBC. What?!? Pulled the trim off the OBC, pulled it out & found my problem.

FWIW, I grounded solidly to the chassis behind the glovebox trim pieces.

Yeah that camlock is a weird one.
The wires don't seem brittle at all, has anybody had trouble with that?
