    Motometer Odometer Gear Assembly

Am I missing a piece? I remember VDO gears having a plastic guard that goes over the gears but can't remember if MotoMeter has the same.

So is there something missing from this picture?

West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.

Do you have any broken gears in that thing?
I have 2 gears from a MOTOMETER that I don't need that are in perfect shape.

Ah man thanks but unfortunately I already replaced 3 gears at 25 dollars a pop...

So half the gears are new. I'm just having a problem with that top white gear in the picture. It keeps sliding away from the other gears losing contact and stopping the odometer. Is there supposed to be a plastic guard to hold them in place?

Crap thats what I was afraid of: That I could have searched to find the answer and that now I have to search for that missing piece.

You can have mine if you want. I just disassembled a junk yard cluster for some pieces I needed. Just pay for shipping.

Hey awesome I have two somewhere but the odds of finding a clear piece of plastic in the boxes of parts that I have is slim. PM Sent
