I did it but didn't take any pictures. I'll be at V@V so you can see it there.

Basiclly Luke gives you a templete and some carpet that closely matches the trunk carpet. You cut a piece of Masonite from the templete and then glue the carpet to it. I just trimmed the top from the excess carpet and just pushed it in place. There is enough tention between the rear deck and the floor to hold it in place. In the end, the trunk looks finished and many people wouldn't notice anything.

Where do you buy masonite, though? I searched Home Depot and Lowe's websites and all I found were doors and cabinets.

Ask for "Tempered Hardboard", looks like pegboard without the holes.

BTW: anyone know who first called this a "Luke Box"? I mean, think of all the cool audiophile goodies on the market, all the bitchin' marketing...someone calls this engineering marvel a "Luke Box" and it stuck.

I swear to fuck, if I do decide to start a home speaker company, this will not happen again.

To make matters worse, I crossed polarity on the front left woofer, so it sounds like @ss and I don't have the time right now to take the whole f@cking driver side f@cking lower Dash assembly with 6 f@cking bolts holding a f@cking shin guard that won't f@cking line up without f@cking with it for an hour when you put it back. Riding around in hell listening to two crappy buzzing rear speakers. Happy hump day. Get off my lawn.
