Hey guys. Just got my first E30, a 1991 318i in really good shape. Have lots of plans for it, but right now just doing some minor cosmetic fixes and such. My power antenna was not working and the mast was broken, so I did a search and found a few threads on the conversion using the Metra AT-GM93.
Well, today I went out to Pep Boys and they had the Metra CX-GM93 which I believe is the same thing since it did fit perfect. Maybe it's a part number made specifically for Pep Boys? Anyways, I used the kit from Pep Boys along with a universal antenna shaft that I thought looked alot better than the one that came with it.
Looks alot cleaner IMO and hardly noticeable. Perfect!
