    Cluster / OBC frustrations

Hi, so I have a wierd problem, and I have searched around for a solution, but can't seem to fix it.

When I first turn the headlights on in my car, the tach and temp backlights do not light up, and neither does the top strip of the OBC. The lights on the butons of the OBC are on however. All are on and working, just not lit.

A couple minutes later, the OBC light turns on.

A couple minutes later, the tach and temp gauge lights turn on.

Once this has happened, if I switch the headlights off and on again, everything continues to work fine.

Sometimes it starts out where the OBC lights up first, and then the rest of the cluster.

I have replaced the headlight switch with a brand new one, and replaced the entire gauge cluster. I have also tried switching out individual gauges in the cluster. I also swapped in a good used SI board.

The problem started randomly at a time when I had not changed anything.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on?

loose grounds somewhere, find the source grounds and wiggle them around and see if it makes a difference
