new CD player

im planning on buying a new CD player today (Pioneer MP3 player). will i need to set in a security code or anthing? and how easy is doing all the work myself?

The Pioneer's dont have security codes. Installation varies, if you have the premium sound system you'll have to rewire all your speakers.

nooo, don't buy a Pioneer! I bought one 4 months ago, and its already been replaced because it died. Alpine CDA-9851 is badass. but $$$

I had a Pioneer for 1.5 years and it still worked when I replaced it.

But since its going in an E30, get an Alpine with the Amber lighting.
