e30 non component speakers

I know it would be better to run component systems, but since im on a budget could i run regular 5 1/4" speakers and run the stock tweets and still have it sound decent? Im only really worried about midrange, and regular speakers cost half of what component systems cost.

If your running stock tweeters... just buy new woofers at parts-express...

The stock tweeters rely on the premium front speakers as the crossover for the tweeter is on the mid.

If you are really really really on a budget, I have a set of Alpine co-ax in really nice shape. Pop into my garage in Renton, I will make them into component speakers with decent crossovers...but ONLY if I install them.

$75 total, installed.
