No Sound Woes

I installed my headunit yesterday along with rewiring my rear speaker with some stinger 16 gauge cable. it was working fine till this morning & there's like no sound now.
what have i done wrong?
did i rewire the speakers wrongly, causing the internal headunit amp to blow?
any help appreciated..

Check your fuses first.

Did you test for power and hook up the right wires to your deck?
Did you tape all the wires you joined?

Does the deck come on but u get no sound?

all the wiring to power, accessory & antenna is working fine. after i soldered the wires, i wrapped them up in electrical tape.
the pioneer headunit was working fine when installed it. sounded great too till the next day when i took it out for a drive & all of a sudden it went mute. the deck still functions though.
what fuse should i check?
