Instrument cluster and OBC lights not working

Both the insturment cluster and OBC are working as they should but when I turn the driving lights on but I get no lights from any of the gauges or the OBC. My hazard flasher seems to light up when I turn driving lights on but the AC/recirc/heater control lights do not illuminate any more either. Radio lights and powers up just fine. All of the warning lights at the bottom of the cluster (including SI) seem to light up just fine when starting the car (I have no warnings on while running). Any ideas?

Checked fuses and swapped a couple but don't see any that should need replacing.

My high beams and low beams are working along with my brake lights and reverse lights. Haven't checked side markers yet but I believe they are working too.

I have recently disconnected the battery ground at the trunk and also bleed the brakes after replacing the MC. Thats where this all started...I also may have lightly shorted across the starter solenoid when taken off one of the nuts for the MC.

Any help would be much appreciated

Ok so no need to worry here...even though the Fuse looked fine #23 was the culprit. Replaced with a 30amp I had extra since I didn't have any 7.5's and everything works. The fuse itself must have internal corrosion since the link still looks intact. I'll be getting the right fuse tomorrow.

I know this a little bit of an old thread just happened to have same problem. Except along with the instrument lights being out my right tail light is out. Sadly I know I am the cause to this. I swapped my dash yesterday and hadn't had a chance to put the heater control back in,I touched a bulb that looked burned out and watched my cluster lights go off. Any one have a fix?
          noob mistake most definitely

Do your guys's fuses blow? You could check the wires underneath the shift boot, those have a tendency to get damaged.

So you replaced a 7.5amp fuse with a 30 amp fuse? That is just foolish as you are asking for an overload or a spike. The fuse is rated at a specific amount so not to exceed it for a reason. When you do you take a chance of burning up wires.

That wasn't me that put a 30amp fuse. I put a 7.5 back in 23. Still have no luck.
I don't understand though how the lights on the cluster are out but the warning lights will light up. As well as my tail light and license plate light are out in conjunction, but not my left tail light and trunk light.
