Dimming wire color?

I'm going to be installing my new deck this weekend, and I am trying to think through everything beforehand to make it a quick affair (with the wife helping with the soldering, my goal is 1 hour).

I am looking through wiring diagrams, and the one thing I can't figure out is what to connect to the deck so that the unit knows when the headlights are on and switches to the 'night mode'. Anyone know what color wire I am looking for? (car is '91 318 )

looks like it says digital radio is on page 6500.

but gy/rd looks to be about right, look on page 6300.0

Thanks- I googled diagrams this morning after having some coffee, and I really should have had this figured out on my own, but last night I think colors were too much for me to handle :D . Thanks! It is definitely grey/red.
