    Electrical power is instantly dead

Hey, any one have any ideas on this one?
I turned the key, to punch in the alarm code, then I just see the OBC display fade out. Now no electrical what-so-ever, not even the dome light comes on, no idiot lights, no OBC display, completely dead. Instant failure.

Weird, I've had no warnings of electrical problems before this. Car ran fine right before I parked it and tried to start it, two hours it sat. I tried to jump start the car and not even the trunk light comes on? Key did nothing...

Fuses all look good. I swaped the main relay with a known good one and still nothing??? I'll try replacing just the same.
(I mounted the battery in the trunk 1 1/2 months ago, cabrio, but it's run fine since? Massive battery drain?)
DME fried? or coil? or maybe ignition switch? try what first? I don't know... any help?
    Thanks

Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS)! I remounted the battery to the front and it started right up. I'll charge the battery and check my connections.
