    Similar question as above.

I forgot what the price is for these. How much is it shipped? Does a JL w3v3 fit in there?

Thanks - I need to plan ahead!

You are the third person to ask.

Unfortunately...they aren't any easier to build, so NO!

          Sorry.

          Closing SOON!

No, that beast won't fit the depth. I can build a custom one for you, but it is more moolah.

The W3 apparently does fit, but keeping the size to the constraints of the car means fairly shallow depth. Most woofers fit, but nothing huge.

Soon, I am gonna do a series of ultra performance boxes that will be sold with an IDMax 10. They will be built differently though, intended to withstand 1200ish watts RMS and still sound pretty...but they is gonna be big dollaz, yo.

dang quick look at the specs (id max10) and its looks to be beastier than even a 10" w7 for just a tad more than the $for w6.

hmmmm dont want to step down to a w3........... pm me the prices for the w6 box (already have w6) and the loaded id max box.

OK, so for the 10W6V2m JL is talking a weird ass design. Tiny, like great for an 8", typically, but since the damn thing is nearly 7" deep, the box cannot be made full width.

We can work something out. I think I might make a special run for you W6 guys, see if I can find 4 people who want one. I am gonna call Florida and see what engineering thinks about that woofer in an E30s environment.

IDMax is still a while off, I need a biscuit joiner and a new tablesaw before I go there.

Rabbeted or biscuit joined (or both, fuck you concrete!) and even better glue, I expect.

I am also gonna chase down a better grade of MDF (HDF resonates too much) and I do not wanna sell the IDMax box until I can do FFT (Waterfall plot) testing, in car.

Seriously, we are talking at least a year before I can even start development, and then the E46 might (the dollars will talk) still get done first.

Luke recommend me a decent 10" sub that can be powered by the amp I have in the car now. I think my xplod has done and gone exploded.

go warranty that pile at Walmart, or buy an Infinity Reference.

Make sure you get Single voice coil, not DVC.

The 10" (I don't think you heard one there, except Dannys) is $185, the 12" (like Jeffs car) is $225 (requires port tubes through the rear deck) and both are "plus shipping"

Most of the time, shipping to CA is about $20ish on the 10", $30ish on the 12".

I am gonna start accepting deposits soon. 4 are pre-paid already, 2 are getting shipped so strut braces can be built around them and 2 more are sold locally. August is gonna be a busy month!

Might be getting ready to think about accepting deposits.

                              Maybe.
