Vert speakers install questions

I will soon be installing a new system in my vert. I have some questions from those who have already done so.
I have some MB Quarts 130 that I was going to install in the rear, but due to the depth and magnet size, they will not work. So I am installing (or hope to be) putting them in the front kick panels. Please tell me that I have a little more depth to utilize these. I cannot seem to locate this information.
Also, as far as the tweeters, where is the cross-over? I am running new wires and unsure where a resister may be utilized.
I have available for use both early tweeters and late models, has anyone found one to be superior over the other?
Is there a disadvantage to using the head unit to power the front speakers? It is a highly rated head unit.

Those are the separates, right? Those speakers will fit in the front no problem - direct drop in. I had them in my car.

I've got custom amp racks for the back if you need such a thing.

I would like to check out your amp racks. I am using old school Precision Power A300 to drive the speakers and Precision Power 2100 for the subs. I am thinking about using a good old Sony EQ that I have laying around, it has a crossover for the subs, but if the amps have that also, is it a stupid idea? Thanks for the good news that they will work. Do you have any advise on the cross over?

I would use the cross over on the amp, probably lower s/n, if it has the cutoff that you want..
