Largest speakers able to obe fit in the front kick panels

I was wondering if I'd be able to fit a set of 5 1/4" speakers in the front.. I want to use a set of Kappa Perfects but I dunno if I could fit them.. I guess I could get a set of Bostons or something, but I get 65% off infinity products :)

6.5" infinity kappas will fit, but you need to cut the plastic kick panel and use the infinity grill. If you going for the stealth look, just get some good 5.25"s.

someone said that kappas would stick out too far and get in the way of driving in one of the previous threads. I would like to put my 6.5" kappas up there, but i haven't put mine in cause I don't know if they'll stick out too far. i'm pondering jordan's boxes

I had em' in my 325e. They definitely didn't get in the way of driving. The grill sits maybe 3/4" off the kick panel. The only "problem" was that I had to make a bracket for the hood latch to sit out further so that it wouldn't hit the speaker.
