Speaker Question About Earthquake Sound Co.

Anyone heard of the Earthquake Sound Co. base out of Hayward, CA.?
They seem to have decently priced speakers but not sure about sound quality. Guy that runs the company has a PHD in engineering and multiple patents. What fits as replacement for the rear panel speakers? 5x7 or 6x9?

    Rear panels are 5.25".

Earthquake is quirky but excellent. I worked in a shop across the street from him in the early 90's, in Hayward. Did several cars with/for them, but I was just an installer for certain projects, not their main dude.

    Closing SOON!

Not a big fan of there new stuff. Back in the day they had some really loud speakers. Their speakers just seem loud but not clear. We did several set ups at the shop I do work at, and they never seemed to perform as they should.
