    E34 Subwoofer Box FEELER

Guys, anyone interested in a sub box for your E34?

I am planning on a single 10" box. It will seem tiny in the trunk of an E34 and it will not be able to fit monster woofers, but will make clean, clear, solid detailed bass with very little power. Will fire through the ski pass as expected.

Gonna be $220ish though, as these will take me longer.

I will have an E34 at my house for 2 weeks, development and pics will happen then.

Let me know what you think!

    thanks,
    Luke

The vents will fit in the ski pass opening with a 10", the last 12" E34 box I did had to vent through the rear deck. There are already holes there, but making a decent gasket was tough.

Interested. What's the best way to power it if i don't want an aftermarket HU?

No worries, you can either do an aftermarket amp for everything and use the crossovers in the stock amp to control your speakers, or just add an amp for bass only.

I have done both ways... and there is still an excellent value in a 5 channel amp from PPI on sonicelectronix.com...the sound is much better, let me tell you!

You can do something like I did in Dale B's X5:

This box is under 4" deep at the top(!).

Big woofers will not work. I bypassed Darins amp, so using the stock crossovers but on different power (deck power for now) and the sound is amazing...bass happens shortly.

You E34 guys neeed to be talking about this...
