No, but the E46 box build is gonna happen too, soon as 1 particular project is done and gone.

If I didn't flip my car I'd be buying one. It probably doesn't fit in an e46 right? lol.

Some piece of shit, I don't remember what it's called, lol. I got it for free from a friend.

I already have a shitty amp/sub combo in your box and it's amazing, but I'm looking for something better. I'm just a car audio noob so all the specs confuse me.

Of course, I don't have any money right now, so I'm just dreaming at the moment. :(

    2 channels, mono = SVC

    1 channel, mono = DVC

    What amp?

I have no idea wtf I have, lol.

So a single voice coil is 4 ohms? And what class/how many channels should an amp be to handle an SVC sub?

How would this sound in the trunk of a vert? I know it wasn't specifically designed for a vert, but anyone ever tried it? I'm thinking of buying it and trying it. If the bass gets captured in the trunk, I will keep it for an IS that I want to buy next spring.

    Any thoughts?

As far as specific woofer/amp combos...I deal in specs more than brand names, so you can get more knowledge and make your own choices.

The best inexpensive woofer I have heard yet is the Infinity Reference. Clean, deep bass with great detail and decent power handling. They come on both single and dual voice coil so you can match your amp's needs.

If I were buying new crap for myself right now, for a budget install (I mean better sound than most all of your buddies, damned impressive) I would buy Infinity Reference 1062W (the DVC 10"), Infinity Reference componenets and the PPI 5 channel amp ($200 SHIPPED!) on Sonicelectronix.com

3 sets of RCAs, some 4 ga power wire, a decent deck (3 high volt preouts and such) and BLAM!, you have serious high performance sound.

yeah ill be slowly upgrading my sound one step at a time, and bass is one thing i have none of. i should be able to shoot you payment in a couple days, these boxes look quality!
