Removed intake manifold, now no power to windows?

My car is in various states of disassemly, but I have been using the cars electrical system to raise/lower the windows while I work on it.

Yesterday I removed the intake manifold, at the end of the night, hooked the battery up and turned the key on. I got dash lights, but no poower to the window switches. I checked the window lock button and all my fuses.

Any of the various stuff removed/unplugged for the intake being removed have to do with getting power to the window switches?

If your blower motor also doesn't work, it's probably the ground on your starter.

LOL, well I removed the starter when I also pulled the transmission yesterday....

That would explain it then, so I just ground the ground wire for the starter?

Yeah, I think it's the smallest one.

In actuality, you should have the battery disconnected while working under the hood to prevent shorts.

It is. I hook/unhook the battery as needed. Last night I was done working on the car and wanted to put the windows up, hooked up battery and no power to switches.

Off of your starter, there is a single green/black wire.

This runs K1 and K2, the "unloader" relays. Basically prevents you from operating your windows or HVAC while the starter is cranking.

Ground that wire, they will work.
