How its supposed to work: Faceplate is hidden, Turn key to ACC or ignition and the faceplate flips over and shows it self and the radio turns on and plays a cd or goes to a radio station.

OK MY PROBLEM IS:
When i turn the key to ACC or ignition the unit does whats it is supposed to but the faceplate wont power on and play music. WTF IS GOING ON?

I CANT DRIVE WITHOUT MUSIC IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!

i remember on my kenwood motorized flip face, it had a tiny reset button in the lower right hand corner. if something fucked up, i'd usually take a needle and hold the button down for a few seconds and it would work again.

Yeah. I tried the reset button and it still doesnt do jack. I feel like taking a metal bat to it because ive been driving around for the past 3 days without music all i hear is fucking road noise from the tires or my exhaust/engine roaring it all sounds good but fuck im getting bored. If this shit is broken im just gonna buy an alpine LCD and say the hell with the kenwood, i may just use it as a target for my guns.

im thinking its the motor that turns the cd or the contacts are fucked but it just stopped working. I turned my car off to get some food i get in my car 5mins later start it up and then the headunit started being a bitch.

there should be a warranty on it...unless you ebay'd it or its damn old.
