I noticed that the tweeter pods ive taken from several cars at the yard dont really fit into my car. Only one of the black tabs fits into a sleeve behind it, it seems that the other one is exactly where the speaker is....any solution aside from superglue or two sided tape? can you move those black tab holders on the door itself to another spot?

I was originally going to mount my new tweeters in the BMW pods but the tabs were always broken. Then I was going to mold them in (like you're thinking of) with fiberglass or something. Then I decided they look good as they are and I have too many other projects to work on (like re-covering my seats) so I called it good and moved on. :DScott '91 318i/5 spd

Ill post some pictures to show progress, and I got plenty of blank sails that if it turns out shitty, ill just screw em onto the blanks and leave it, more concerned with the sound then the aestethics1991 318is --- currently not road worthy
