So one thing I have never really know about audio hardware are all the specifications they give for stuff. What does it all mean? For example:

Re
Qms
Qes
Qts
Mms
Cms
Sd
Vas
Spl
Bl
Xmax

What are all these specs and what should I be looking for when buying stuff?

Honestly, knowing most of that won't matter much in a car stereo. Having a clean source, decent bitrate, not hot-mastered (good luck there), and paying attention to RMS values are all you really need to bother with.
