Switched 12v Power Under dash, near the cluster.

Looking for someplace near the cluster for a switched 12v line that I can tap into for my V1.

I know about the purple/brown up by the check panel, but I want something near the cluster because I'm planning on putting a CD in there.

Headlight switch? Or you could use the wire that the stereo uses.

Just tried a few wires, first one was a fail and turning the RD on turned on my headlights, second one worked great and I think it is the one that eventually goes to the radio.

How about just tapping into the ignition switch wires? Buy a test light and find one that has power.

Does your car have the little Aux fuse box on the side of the big one? Mine came pre-wired with constant/switched 12v in there, very easy to run an accesory wire from that to power all you gizmo's.

I use the wire that leads to the light in the cig lighter
