proper removal of stock tweeter from pod?

alright so i got some infinity components, the plan is to put the tweeters in some stock tweeter pods.
except i cant figure out how to remove the buggers.

i dont want to just pull on stuff until it breaks. how do you go about getting them out?

    thanks for any help.

I just twisted...eventually they will break and you might have to take a razor to get the rest out. They are glued in IIRC

they are glued in, i pry them out with a flat screwdriver. Prying a little bit at a time going around it, it will pop out eventually

i hit mine with a heat gun for about 15 seconds and they pop right out witha screwdriver in like 2 seconds.

a blowdryer will do teh same but pob take you about a min or 2.
