stock battery cable for amp power/ground ?

Ok so cleaning out my garage today I found 2 full runs of original e30 front to rear battery cable.You know that thick a$$ stock one. About to redo my audio in the next few days and figure I can reuse this for a + and a - run into a fused distro block to power the amps-- amps will have a foot or two of typical 4 guage. So anyone advise no to do this?

go for it lol its still power cable but its not as flashy
