Dome lights don't turn off

Searched and found nothing, maybe I'm shitty at searching.

Regardless: my dome lights won't turn off now. Started my car last night and realized about five minutes into driving that the dome lights were still on (they're in the position that should be "off" when doors are closed/car off but goes "on" when doors open). Turned them to full "on" and back to "conditional on" and still lit. Restarted car, same problem. Have them turned off to save battery currently.

Any ideas as to what happened or how to fix this?

Check the door switches, then the relay below the divider, behind the driver kick panel speaker.

Without having to do anything, I tried the lights this morning and they're back to functioning normally. I chalked it up to the E30 being able to repair itself.

mine does the same thing if I leave the door open too long. Like yours if I shut them off for a while then when I turn them back on then they're fine. At some point I intend to track it down.
