Bought the head unit now I need an amp.

Alright so I went ahead and bought the Alpine-7998, found it locally for $450 at Custom Car Hi-Fi. So now I need a 4-channel amp, looking for around 200-250watts. Any suggestions?

Id recomend ebay, Ive gotten all my stereo stuff from there and they more often than not have the lowest proces. Only thing is you gotta research and know what you want before you bid

Yup that's the one, they're expecting shipments of new stuff in a couple weeks so it was marked down from $800 to $450. Almost bought a Sony Xplod that was on sale for $125. Any models of amps that are good? Any good 4 channel Alpine amps?

Edit: I think I'm probably going to go with the Alpine MRP-F240. I can get it on e-bay for ~$135 shipped/insured, brand new. Any have experiences with it?

Thats exactly the deck I want to get. Nice price, too.
I have an Alpine V12 5-channel amp. I believe it is the MRV-750. 75x4 rms @ 4ohms and 250x1 rms @ 4 ohs. It sounds extremely clean and it has plenty of power to drive my MB Quart components and my 10" Alpine Type-R sub. I would highly recommend one.
