Cheap capsules last about a year or two. Good bulbs that cost more then $1 to manufacture last 10 years or more. That being said i picked up my 4th set of DDMs. That makes it kit #10 for me. I've been buying hids since 03. My hella ballast lasted 5 years till one gave out. Probably to many wheelies and crashes on the motorcycles. lol

Like i said a few weeks back. DDM is all different ppl ( at least in LA ) Two guys that are pretty up front. I over heard them say that these bulbs last up to but if not 2 years, all bulbs leak gas. Ive had no issues since buying from the from the summer up to now. They fired all the old ppl , theres no more eurodyne. I under stand the color issue, i have yet to try a different brand of hid's but for the money its still a pretty good deal.

Nope. E36 stuff on those. I will say that I have ordered 4500, 5000 and 6000 Kelvin temps. They all were different colors. So I don't know what all to say in response to the little "Anti-DDM" poster but I saw multiple different colors with my eyes and all of those are all VERY close together color wise.

My friend has the Depo E30 lights. To me that work, look and perform pretty darn good.

Like I said my experience has been good. When I order smoked corners I got smoked. When I ordered multiple HID kits all were labeled as different colors and when installed was different. Can't say anything outside of that you know?

That's great that some of you guys are having such good luck with DDM hid's - and it's good to hear that some of them are lasting so long. But it makes it sound like you've missed the point about the color not being correct - I'm not saying that you did - it just sounds like it. And just for the record, that's why I started this thread...the color.

Hey dinanm3atl - question: Were any of those cars that had depo headlights e30's?

    meh

Must have had 20-30 HID kits. 1 kit is on it's 4th or 5th vehicle. Two that were wrecked and both were totaled. I have had 3? 4 cars with Depo headlights from them. Corners. Lights. Lip. Etc.

No issues to date or complaints from me.

when you search for DDM or Apexcone ? :P

If you want good quality H.I.D's go with these two. Ive used both and I'm very happy.

Was just there Tuesday. No issues but i only do buy HID's the 6k's
I like the light output and with a 55w ballast they are more like real 6k's
