^So what did you use for the aux input for the CD43? I was thinking of buying the grom kit but don't want to spend that much.

For what it's worth, CD43 is a fat waste of fat stacks of cash dollars to get to work with an input, and CDs will still skip anyway so you might as well get a smarter aftermarket deck that is as neutral looking as possible.
It was 3 years ago thread. For that matter I can't stand any of the gimicky aftermarket decks. Nakamichi made a nice quality set up but they are slowly headed away from good stuff in pursuit of the all mighty sales vs quality.

Every damn one of these has always seemed to need to be reset every few months for some reason.

If yours acts up, just unplug it and wait 1 minute, then re-connect.

The Blitzsafe adapter works with my C43. It's hooked up to a Phatbox mp3 player and it has RCAs for an auxiliary input. While in CD changer mode, you just hit the track up and then the track down buttons to get it to switch to AUX input.

That's it, but you want the Non-DSP version.

I found mine cheap on e46fanatics because it was missing the cable that goes to the iPod. They pop up there rather often, so keep an eye out over there if you're a member.

This is what I plan on doing...I still haven't gotten around to it. Over Thanksgiving break it's definitely going to happen, though.
