    Cheap aftermarket head unit to match illumination

    I was looking for cheap and illumination-matching to replace the gaping smashed hole that my 318iS came with. At $95 shipped, this JVC KD-R310 fit the bill (of course, now it's going for $80 shipped) :( Installation was pretty easy, and it has performed up to my modest expectations. The illumination options are almost unlimited. Here's how she looks:

          looks good. Ive always hated the big chrome knobs they stick on there though, I had the same knob on my otherwise perfect matching eclipse HU.

                  Fool, I know you've seen my set up right? it's like a couple of steps up from the OPs but only because mine has the USB port.



                  Good cheap choice OP, I think I paid like $135.00 for mine including the insurance from Best Buy. :up:
