its not to hard to just play it by ear. basically just take out the airbox and the elbow, then unscrew the adjuster and the other bolt holding the alternator on. maybe theres two, i dont recall. two electrical connections in the back, one big and one small, so they cant really be mixed up. once you start doing stuff its pretty simple.

Elbow doesn't need to come off. Just make sure you don't touch the big wire to anything grounded, or you'll be in for some serious fun.
You could disconnect the battery, but that's for sissies.
