As title says...the light was as bright as can be prior to it giving out..Fuse maybe?

Both will just die out. No real sign of their imminent death.

Pretty sure it's a bulb. Thanks, I'll check it out. I thought they would slowly die.

I knew bulb stock but didn't know if you modded it for LED.

A bulb can dim out but also can just pop, the filament would break. Think any household lightbulb,

There are many write-ups on the repair/replacement of these bulbs. Have it lined up for my own OBC.
