    Testing pwr window switch/regulator

So I figure theres about three things that are most likely happening. Either the switch, regulator, or window motor has gone bad. A few weeks ago I started intermittently losing power to my passenger window. Today I couldnt get it to work at all. I have access to a multimeter but dont know how to use it. I searched but could only find a specific answer. For the multimeter, on what setting and where do I attach/insert the clamps/prongs to find out whats not working? Thanks
