I have an Alpine in my M3 and I love it....matches the amber perfectly. I'm looking at installing the Alpine CDA 102 in mine. I just need to be able to play CDs and my iPOD.

I REALLLY want that blaupunkt, but they are impossible to find now.

I sold my Clarion 9255 but could let go of my Alpine 7909L as it has a timeless look to it and sounds great.

Yeah, 70Hz to 160Hz, 24db/oct on top and bottom. Enclosures are about .6 cu ft, should kick ass in that range.

I have removed exactly as many Denford decks as I have seen. Never have I seen a working one yet, including the one I put in new from the box.

Fucking BULLSHIT! I WANT one, why are they so goddamn expensive!

Having owned several "Real" Naks (TD1200II, TD 700I and II) couple TD400s, DX3, DX1 and an early 3 head I cannot remember except it was silver and Dolby B only) I have no use for the CD300/400. I mean yeah, they are OK, but a TD700 was seriously bad ass.

I so miss my old DCC 8570. I still have 2 of them in a box somewhere, in pieces.

Thanks, nakamichi makes nice decks too, but like the blaupunkt I don't like how they look that much.

    Found this about the denfords:
Is this the famous Denon Z-1 CD player?
No, it is comparable to the "original" A1N with a 20 bit DAC.

Word. I used to have an old Denon... and a Nak CD-7.

    Your deck looks sick.

Didn't they sell that Denon deck in the US for a very short time under the Rockford Fosgate brand? It had a gold face though.

I like your E28 build, got any pictures of the sub? I was planning on putting a normal 10 under the seat, or maybe one of these http://stereointegrity.com/ subs. Why did you choose an 8? What are you doing for the front stage? custom kicks? I don't want to use a 4x6 but I also want the system completely hidden besides the deck and the brax 4 channel.

Have you seen this build in an E46? Good freekin lord that guy has talent! http://www.audiogroupforum.com/csfor...ad.php?t=66958
The sub is a single 12, up against the back seat. As incredible as that E46 is, it can't sound all that good. Those woofers in that tiny airspace just can't perform, especially in the trunk like that. Those installs are incredible, where the trunk is all display, but totally waste the car. I try and keep the trunk as usable as possible. I sure do wish I had more customers with the time/money to do stuff like that! Personally, I am never gonna own a car that is dedicated to show like that, everything I ever own is going to be DD capable...
