United auto security remote programming

Anyone have any idea how to program these remotes? I ordered new ones since my old one broke and they forgot to include the instructions with them. Been leaving messages since last week and also emailed the tech support Monday with no reply yet. I searched the forum and internet and turned up nothing. any help is greatly appreciated since it seems UAS isn't going to be much help. This sucks because i was also supposed to be sending them back to UAS to have the keys cut grrr

I think you have to get them cut first. Then you just need to put the key in the ignition and turn it 8 times (don't turn it far enough to start the car), then press the lock button. I just programmed my key that way last night, but I had already had it cut.

Sidenote, can you manually unlock your car with the UAS key by turning the key in the door or trunk lock cylinders? I could do so with my old UAS keys, but then I upgraded to the beefier keys and they don't work in the trunk or doors. I emailed them but haven't heard back.

No one wants to cut it when i take it anywhere (ried lowes and hd), do i need to remove the key blank from the remote? I got the new flip style remotes much beefier than the old ones, i broke my old flip key housing trying to unlock the drivers door. Need to rebuild the lock cylinders at some point so getting my keyless entry working correctly is a band aid for now.

same thing with me, emailed and called to no response. Wonder if they're closed for the week for the holiday or something. Last time i called to order the keys i got someone right away..

I had mine cut at a locksmith and they cut it with no problem, and no need to remove the keyblank.
