    Antenna Base replacement help!

Electronic peeps...i've decided to go with a fixed antenna rather than my current retractable one. I've picked up a base off of an E36 Vert and am now looking to do the swap.

I have no clue about wires and what not but this one seems not so confusing. But nevertheless, i know jack about rewiring wires. Can someone let me know how to rewire this jammy? Do i just combine the two off my old into one to new? Here's a pic of what im seeing...thanks for help

Connect the white wire to the spade terminal below the antenna connector, and make sure the black wire is grounded.

    The red wire is unused.
