Advice Wanted: Premium Stereo Components - Touring

    Hey,

I'm heading back to the CA for a few weeks and wanted to look for some premium stereo components for my '90 Touring. I'm just getting into e30s and need some suggestions on the difficult parts to track down.

Do any of the factory decks that are period correct have aux inputs?

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your input.

    Cheers,

Your best bet is to go with good aftermarket stuff if you want a good sound, if you're just wanting to try to put the og "premium" stereo components into your car, welcome to opposite hell. Most premium stereo component guys struggle to get around the wiring of their stuff to go aftermarket.

Thanks Thad for the insight. Maybe I should start looking at getting the premium speaker covers instead! Sound advice from both you and Pierre. I still would like to get a factory deck, but maybe I can just get face plate of the factory deck and have another "new" deck behind it. A few of my friends in the 02 world have done this.

Thanks for the input and we'll see what I can put together while I'm home.

        Cheers,

        Evan

Your best bet is a C43 or CD43 retrofit with an Aux-In/iPod adapter...very easy, I just finished my retrofit with a Blitzsafe iPod adapter with my C43.

Suggest you go for the CD43 soon, got it already. Will look great in any E30.

Cool. Thanks for the excellent suggestion. I'm going hit the local e30 store to see what they. Let's hope that I can find a CD43. Awesome suggestion.

              Cheers,
