Random connector hanging down wtf

While searching my engine bay today, I noticed a connector just hanging loose behind the air flow sensor. It is a 3 pin Jetronic, and it's a pretty long branch, but I'm wondering what it's to. It branches off of the air flow 'harness'(Driver's side of the engine bay). Any ideas?

Sounds likes its for the barometer on the old style E airboxes.

Ah, car came with a K&N intake, so it would make sense that the connector is no longer in use...
