So I really screwed this one up. While trying to reinstall my z3 antenna retrofit, I totally jacked up the stock antenna signal cable female connector that connects to the male needle on the z3 antenna base. More over, the female connector on the wire was ripped off and now I can't make a secure connection to the male end. Any advice??? can this cable be spliced with one that is in working condition? It's rather thick and it seems like a series of bundled up wires but I'm hoping I can go to the junk yard and find a good condition female end of the antenna signal cable and splice it with my current cable.
I really do not want to re run a new wire from the back of my HU to the trunk.
